Magnetic Island Accommodation

Backpackers can choose from one of the best YHA's in Australia, or any one of a number of other backpacker specific accommodation, most with facilities you would expect to find in 5 star hotels. Magnetic Island is an affordable base for backpackers to explore the reef.
If you are looking for a hotel on Magnetic Island, the Magnetic International Resort is world class with lush surrounds, well appointed rooms and exceptional restaurants.
And, if you are looking for a Magnetic Island resort that specialises in functions and weddings, then the award winning Magnetic Island Tropical resort should be on your list. The resort is set back from the beach in tropical rainforest and caters for weddings of up to 200 people. They even provide honeymoon accommodation on site in secluded chalets.
Families may prefer one of the many holiday houses, apartments and villas that dot the island. But don't confuse Magnetic Island holiday units with 'average' accommodation. Many apartments are 4½ stars with views over the Whitsundays. Now that's paradise!
